Last day of Otakon, and I have to say that I had such a blast this year. Much love to Joe & Sara, Raphe, Ven, Kat & crew, Marphos (big hug to you, sweetie!), and everyone else for making this Otakon a very memorable weekend.
I dedicate this vid to John, who passed away October 2007. He loved last year's Otakon, and though he was not with us physically this year, he was in spirit. Miss you, hon. Keep watch over all our friends in Maryland.

Vic Mignogna was one of the guests at ConnectiCon 2007. He was referee during the mock turn-based fight. I forgot what the guys called themselves but the girls were the Fullmetal Ninjas.
One of the girl's mother called during the fight and she handed the phone to Vic. This is where I started recording.
I apologize for the lack of quality, as I recorded this with my digital pic camera.

Had so much fun at Otakon this year. I cosplayed as Prof. Hojo (FF7) - yeah, I'm crazy for doing that again. At ConnectiCon the weekend before I met Joe and Sara who cosplayed as Zack and Cloud, and they were at Otakon as well.
Joe cosplayed as Sephiroth and we went around Friday night taking pictures of Sephiroth killing random people in Aeris's famous death scene (with two exceptions).
I will have the rest of the pics up soon. Don't ask exactly when because I went back to work the day after I got home from Otakon and my next day off is this coming Monday.
My friend also uploaded this vid on his site. :)

What took the most time was ripping and converting the footage. =P

There are a couple minor differences between this and when it showed at AnimeNEXT 2008. Stupid me forgot to save after exporting the video, so I had to rework half of it and two of the transitions are somewhat different. No biggie but I just wanted to clear that. Okie dokie.

I would like to apologize to everyone who showed up at the Final Fantasy photo shoot Sunday afternoon. The chess game ended earlier than expected and the group I was with decided to leave. I was tired myself for part of my weekend was cut short because I had to work Saturday morning and it was a good 45 minute to an hour drive to Hartford thanks to the traffic on the way... Oh well.

This actually started as a joke between my friend and me. A couple weeks before Crisis Core was released, we were talking about Tifa and Aeris (Aerith, whatever) and which of the two would be better paired with Cloud. We both agreed on Tifa since the woman figuratively and literally kicks ass. Not that we have anything against Aeris -- we liked her and she can hold her own, but the reason she was fond of Cloud because he reminded her of Zack, etc., we know the story; enough of the digression. While having this discussion, I had Winamp on and Crazy Town's Butterfly started playing. I then said, "Tifa is Cloud's butterfly."
And this is the result.
I'm a little twerked because in a couple of the scenes, the footage gets a little jumpy. I don't know why -- these are the same vid files I used for my other FF7AC video. Maybe something's up with my computer or it could be the fact that my Adobe program is in serious need of an upgrade (version 1.5), and so does my computer.

2006 - First time going with a few friends. I was only there for a couple hours (and then went to Six Flags).
2007 - Actually stayed for the whole convention this year. I'm Sound Ninja Kin from Naruto.
2008 - Was Professor Hojo on Saturday. My best friend asked me if I had a death wish (you'll see why). I originally planned to go as Dr. Nii from Saiyuki but I didn't get the wig in time. So I went as the other psycho doctor. =D (I'm also on a big FFVII kick right now thanks to Crisis Core.)
